Josh Carter Consulting is a single individual operation catering to small to medium sized businesses in the Boston area who cannot afford the growing cost of technical improvement.  Services include and are not limited to application production, website design, database design, and general computer or technical consulting.  Solutions are problem (and business) specific, generally made from scratch, and are not overly complex for the untrained user.  These solutions are constructed to be maintained free of a part or full time administrator.  Often the solutions utilize existing software owned by the business. 

The fee for services is usually calculated on a hourly rate which reflects the complexity of the solution.  In all cases, thanks to a low overhead, this cost will be low compared to other consulting firms.

Josh Carter is a graduate student at MIT completing a PhD in astrophysics and looking for a little extra income to support his future wife and pad his modest graduate student income.  He has degrees in both Mathematics and Physics and is extensively trained in Computer Science.
